Job Tasks

Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code using web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and others as needed.
Utilize web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) to streamline development processes and enhance website functionality.
Integrate and customize content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal, allowing clients to manage website content.
Build and maintain e-commerce websites, including online stores and payment processing systems.
Optimize website performance, including page load times, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
Ensure websites function consistently across various web browsers and devices.
Implement security measures to protect websites from vulnerabilities, including data breaches and malware.
Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and track changes in website code.
Conduct thorough testing, identify bugs or issues, and troubleshoot to resolve them promptly.
Collaborate with web designers, graphic designers, and other team members to ensure seamless website development.
Interact with clients to understand their requirements, provide project updates, and address feedback or changes.
Create technical documentation, including user manuals and project reports.
Keep abreast of industry trends, web development tools, and emerging technologies to implement best practices.
Ensure websites are responsive and mobile-friendly for optimal user experience on various devices.
Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
Ensure websites comply with accessibility standards to make them inclusive for all users.
Meet project deadlines and milestones, managing time effectively to prioritize tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a web developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing web development skills.
Proficiency in web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks.
Experience with CMS platforms and e-commerce development is a plus.
Familiarity with responsive design principles and web accessibility standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing project requirements.
Knowledge of SEO principles and security best practices.
Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
