Job Tasks

Add transitions, effects, animations, and graphics to enhance video quality and engagement.
Edit and enhance audio elements, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to ensure clarity and emotional impact.
Adjust color balance, contrast, and brightness to achieve a cohesive and visually appealing look.
Incorporate text, titles, and captions where necessary to convey information or enhance storytelling.
Seamlessly integrate various media elements, such as graphics, images, and animations, into video projects.
Sync and edit voiceovers or narration to match the visual content and timing.
Create multiple versions of videos to accommodate different platforms, aspect ratios, and audience preferences.
Review completed videos to identify and correct errors, glitches, or inconsistencies.
Organize and maintain video files, ensuring easy access and version control.
Collaborate with the creative team, clients, or project managers to gather feedback and make necessary revisions.
Adhere to project timelines and deliver completed videos on schedule.
Stay updated on video editing software and tools, using them effectively to achieve desired results.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing editing skills.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Knowledge of audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity) and color correction tools.
Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and resolutions for various platforms.
Creative storytelling abilities and a keen eye for visual composition.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Familiarity with current video trends and editing techniques.
